Objective: To determine the relationship between sleep quality and anger levels, in interprovincial low-bed drivers 2017
Methodology: Quantitative, analytical, non-experimental, cross-sectional, prospective and analytical statistics study. The sample consisted of 402 low-bed transport drivers, selected during their respective occupational medical evaluations at a clinic in Lima. The Pittsburgh sleep questionnaire, the driver anger scale (EIC) and the personality questionnaire of Zukerman and Kuhlman - III were applied.
Results: 402 drivers were collected, the positive relationship between sleep quality and anger levels (Rho = 0.303) and p <0.000 was determined. Other factors are personality traits, according to the classification of Zukerman and Kuhlman - III, where 33.8%, 22.4% and 22.1% corresponded to sociable personality, activity and neurotic - anxious traits, respectively.
Conclusion: The positive relationship between low sleep quality and high levels of anger in low-bed transport drivers was determined.
