Estudio de caso clínico educativo: programa de autovalimiento, colocarse y sacarse los calcetines en una niña con síndrome de Down
Abstract
El objetivo de este estudio era revelar la importancia de un programa de intervención para colocarse y sacarse los calcetines en una niña con síndrome de Down, que dependía de otra persona para esta actividad, por lo que este programa busca un desarrollo de independencia en las actividades básicas del día a día. El programa de intervención se desarrolló en el ambiente de la niña, su hogar, es allí donde la niña se sintió cómoda y en confianza, además que por motivos sociales (pandemia) no pudo realizarse en otros ambientes. Para una mejor comprensión, el trabajo se ha estructurado en cuatro capítulos. En el primero se encuentra el marco teórico, donde, se presentó una breve reseña histórica del síndrome de Down, definición, tipos de alteraciones cromosómicas, algunas características, como físicas, cognitivas, sensoriales y de lenguaje, también algunos datos del síndrome de Down en el Perú y sobre la familia y autovalimiento. El siguiente capítulo, se muestra el caso como tal, los datos de filiación, el problema actual, los procedimientos de evaluación, el informe psicológico y el perfil de funcionamiento. En el tercer capítulo, se observa el proceso de intervención terapéutica, donde se identificó el problema específico, se diseñó y aplicó el programa, después se mostraron los resultados obtenidos y el seguimiento del caso; en el último capítulo, se muestra un resumen, las conclusiones del trabajo y las recomendaciones del estudio.
